Scope Safaris was founded by Justus Muli Mutindi in 2001. Throughout his life, Justus has lived in different areas of Kenya, ranging from the Mombasa coastline to the Central Highlands surrounding Mount Kenya. Getting to experience Kenya's array of natural beauty, incredible wildlife and diverse cultures inspired Justus to create opportunities for others to see, hear and feel the excitement of East Africa. Since its inception, Scope Safaris has grown organically to employ a small team of Kenyans and hopes to continue growing in years to come. We've strived to keep our team local and our economic impacts local, so that Kenyan people and Kenyan wildlife can be the benefactors of the safari business. This is very important to us and to make sure we are doing our best to serve our communities, we continue to volunteer and provide volunteer opportunities for visitors to our beautiful piece of the world.
